Jack Mobley
Faith-Based Coordinator
I’m originally from TN and came to CA via the Air Force in 1986, met my wife and married in 1987. After 6 years active duty I joined the Air Force Reserve and started a janitorial business to provide jobs for a large Mien congregation at First Baptist Church in Merced. I dabbled in politics and was a County Planning Commissioner for 20 years. I recently sold my businesses and have retired. My wife was a teacher and high school administrator and was instrumental in starting Stone Ridge Christian High School.
Jermaine Paster (Coach)
Community Coordinator
My name is Jermaine Paster, though many know me as Coach Paster. I bring over thirty years of coaching experience, and for me, coaching has always been more than teaching the fundamentals of a sport. It’s about meeting young people where they are in life, not just on the field, court, or in an athletic center. Coaching is ministry, mentorship, and mission all wrapped into one.
By the grace, blessing, and anointing of the Most High, I have had the opportunity to serve alongside several impactful organizations, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Merced Sunrise Rotary, Kiwanis, and Disabled American Veterans (DAV). I also serve as a Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission (JJDPC) Commissioner for Merced County, advocating for guidance, accountability, and restoration for our youth.
In addition, I am honored to serve as the Chair for Run For the Fallen, an event dedicated to honoring military personnel who have lost their lives while defending our beautiful country and protecting the freedoms and lives of those within our American borders. This role reflects my deep respect for service, sacrifice, and legacy.
Above all titles and roles, I am a father of five beautiful children, a responsibility and blessing that grounds everything I do. Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, striving daily to lead with faith, integrity, humility, and service.
My purpose is to pour into others, uplift the next generation, and walk faithfully in the calling God has placed on my life.
